Over many years I operated my woodworking business and developed methods to speed up the process of making cabinets and furniture. The first step was simpler designs and consideration of materials and simplified work methods. I wrote my first book on the topic entitled Simplified Woodworking I: A Business Guide For Woodworkers back in 1980 and it is now out of print. Since then I have written another book also especially for those interested in operating a woodworking business. It is entitled Woodworking Business: Start Quickly And Operate Successfully. Complete details on that book is available at http://woodworkers-business-guide.com/. These books proved valuable to many woodworking businesses but they did not dwell into the in depth details of the simplified methods and it has been my intent for some time to write a book with these details.
My new Woodworking Simplified blog will contain all the information, details, drawings, instructions, hints, tips, and much more that helped me make hundreds of projects and in depth details about the designing and making of the projects instead of the business end. There will be some information valuable to those interested in the business of woodworking but the focus will be to help the novice woodworker to design and make cabinets and furniture.
